No. You do not need to take an entrance test at
Studienkolleg Düsseldorf. We assess your school
qualifications and German language skills. If you meet
the admission requirements, you can join your course
and prepare for the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP).
Yes. You can start with German level B1 if you also
meet the academic admission requirements. You do not
need to complete a separate B2 course beforehand.
This can save you time and the fees for an additional
B2 course. During your Studienkolleg course, you
continue learning German while preparing for the
subject exams of the FSP.
In the first semester, you can choose between online
classes and classes in Düsseldorf. This gives you
more time to organise your move. In the second
semester, you must attend in person in Düsseldorf,
where you prepare for the FSP with exam practice
and exercises.
You take the state Feststellungsprüfung through the
Cologne District Government (Bezirksregierung Köln)
in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. At Studienkolleg
Düsseldorf, subject lessons and FSP tutorials help
you prepare, practise and discuss questions with
your teachers.
The FSP has its own admission requirements.
Enrolment in our course does not automatically
grant admission to the exam.
Yes. You do not need to wait for your visa to send
an enquiry. We can discuss which course suits you
and help you plan your attendance. You can attend
the first semester online. From the second semester,
you must attend in person in Düsseldorf.
For your application, we need a copy of your passport,
your school-leaving certificate, your transcript of
grades, a CV in German and proof of your German
language skills.
You do not need all your documents to send an enquiry.
Fill in the short form now. We will explain which
documents and translations you need and what you
can submit later.
No. Your enquiry is free and does not commit you to
enrolling. You can ask questions about your course,
tuition fees and the application process first.
You then decide whether you would like to enrol
at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf.
