Questions about the T-Course

Is there an entrance exam for the T-Course?

No, there is no entrance exam at the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf. Instead, we review your final certificates, school grades, and German language skills to determine your qualification for the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf. The required level of German proficiency for participation in the T-Course is B1.

Do I need an official B1 language certificate?

No, a participation confirmation from a language school is sufficient for the application at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf.

A minimum language level of B1 is required for participation. After registering, you can submit a participation certificate or a language certificate at this level.

The proof of German language proficiency can be provided by a participation certificate from a language school or an official language certificate such as telc, Goethe, TestDaf, DSH, or DSD.

Can I attend the T-Course online?

Yes, in the first semester, you have the option to choose whether you want to participate in the T-Course online or on-site, allowing you to learn flexibly regardless of your location.

In the second semester, you must attend the T-Course on-site at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf because we conduct many exam simulations and exam training sessions in person.

How do I get admitted to the T-Course?

Submit documents via email: Send your registration documents or application materials via email to info@stk-duesseldorf.de. The list of required documents can be found at the bottom section of this website, under the “Application” section.

Document review: The Studienkolleg team will carefully review your submitted documents and inform you promptly of the result.

Tuition fee payment: After your documents have been reviewed, the Studienkolleg will send you an invoice for the tuition fees. Transfer the tuition fees to the Studienkolleg to confirm your registration and secure your admission to the T-Course.

Receive admission letter from Studienkolleg Düsseldorf: You will receive an official confirmation via email once the tuition fees have been paid and you have been admitted to the T-Course.

Note: Please be aware that a place in the course cannot be guaranteed if documents are submitted late, due to our limited capacity.
