Our Story

2016 – The Starting Point
We founded the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf with a clear mission: to prepare international students in the best possible way for studying at German universities. In our very first course, 25 dedicated students from various countries studied together — a multicultural beginning that continues to reflect our core values to this day.

2017 – Official telc Examination Center
Just one year later, we obtained our license as an official telc examination center. Since then, we have been offering recognized language exams and supporting our participants on their way to certification.

2018 – Quality Management Becomes Standard
To consistently meet our high standards in teaching and organization, we implemented a professional quality management system in 2018 — enabling us to continuously improve and deliver measurable quality.

2020 – Going Digital Through the Crisis
When the COVID-19 pandemic changed the educational landscape, we reacted quickly: in 2020, we launched our first digital Studienkolleg course. This allowed our international students to continue learning flexibly and pursue their goals, even under challenging circumstances.

2024 – A Record Year for International Participation
In 2024, we welcomed more international students than ever before. This strong demand confirms the value of our work and shows that we are on the right path.

2025 – Strong Partnerships & New Exam Credentials
In 2025, we became an official partner of the Goethe-Institut Düsseldorf. At the same time, we were certified as a test center for both TestDaF and TestAS — an important step toward expanding and professionalizing our offerings even further.
