German Course C1
German Course C1 is an Intensive German Course that prepares your language skills for working on an academic level. This will mostly be important for anyone who plans to study in Germany. With level C1 you will be able understand and work with most of the teaching material at German universities.
What do I learn within this course?
According to European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), someone, who has level C1 in German, is able to utilize the language at a competent level. This means, you are able to use advanced elements of the language in most everyday situations. Within this intensive course you will learn to use those elements in the most efficient way and learn them in a short period of time. Our qualified lecturers will teach you the following topics in small and individual groups:
✓ understand and discuss more complex topics
✓ master most everyday situations with fluent German
✓ express emotions and opinions in detail
✓ formulate longer and more complex essays about various topics
The course comprises about 160 lessons, 5 x 5 lessons a week. Within this period, you will be most efficiently prepared for the telc C1 Hochschule exam. The C1 German course includes German placement and final examination as well as certificate of attendance.
For level B2, we offer a special preparation course ▶ telc B2 / C1 Hochschule that is specifically targeted towards the telc examinations. Studienkolleg Düsseldorf is a dedicated telc examination center that also offers you in-house telc exams.
