German Intensive Course
Who needs a German Intensive Course?
Learning German fast and efficiently is essential for most foreign student when they want to study at a German university. The acquisition of the German language through our German intensive course enables you to enter life as a student or employee in Germany much more easily.
What is taught in the German course?
At Studienkolleg Düsseldorf, we offer courses on a monthly basis for any of the levels following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which means anything from level A1, A2, B1, B2 to C1. The Levels are defined as follows:
- German A1: Beginner level
- German A2: Language skills for very simple every day situations
- German B1: Slightly advanced level
- German B2: Advanced level
- German C1: Makes you able to cope with most academic textes and express yourself independently
Why take the intensive course?
Our German Intensive Courses consist of small groups, in which every student can be supported individually and therefore more efficiently. All of the lecturers are skilled and experienced with the training of students who want to learn the German language the fastest way possible.
When does the course start?
At Studienkolleg Düsseldorf, you can take a course for any of the levels (A1 to C1)! The courses are divided into 10 levels: A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1, C1.2. This allows you to start a course every month with the level you need. In order to find out the start date of your course, please check the dates in the table below.

and additionally you’ll receive a 25€ discount on your next telc B1 or telc B2 or telc C1 Hochschule examination at the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf which is valid for 12 month.
Digital Learning with the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf
Do you like to join the classes in person with other students? Or is it more convenient for you to join the classes online? At the Studienkolleg Düsseldorf every option is possible! We are digitally well-equipped and our competent and flexible teachers can arrange the lessons for you online, in person or in hybrid according to your wishes.
For our students we also have additional online-learning material which our teacher have created for you as further practice! You can repeat the learned grammar and vocabulary from your course on your way home, in the bus or train!
Accommodation
If you need a place to stay, you can also rent a matching accommodation at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf. More information.
The Start and Ending can vary depending on the peculiarities of the respective week, teachers or room capacity.
